here lies a body trying to escape the contents of the screen, the eyes of the viewer, the thoughts in their own head, the hard edges of the cameras framing. they run from friends, from family, from lovers, hoping to run to a life they so desperately desire – but in turn running from any chance of that. the incessant running leaves the self in pieces, in a forever fantasy. beyond the frame, or behind it, the body runs from even running.
